Working with Cibus Nordic Real Estate AB to establish a platform in the Danish market

Background :
Operating in harmony with the slogan, ‘Converting food into yield’, Cibus Nordic Real Estate AB has a grocery-anchored real estate strategy, investing in daily goods and groceries properties throughout the Nordics and Benelux. It owns more than 630 properties throughout the region.

Case Nordre Fasanvej

Transforming unused loft space to modern flats in the heart of Copenhagen

Nordre Fasanvej 121-131, 2000 Frederiksberg is a 3,900 m2 property that is part of a larger portfolio which Fokus Nordic manages for a group of institutional investors. Each year, the asset management team reviews the portfolio together with the investor group to identify ways they can optimise each property. This increases the property’s value and this case demonstrates how new flats in an existing property embraces sustainability.

Case Fenix

Transforming an old office and artisan building into a modern, sustainable office

Background
In 2018, Fokus Nordic worked with an American investment firm to purchase Skålen, an old office and craftsman building in Hagastaden, an up-and-coming district popularly known as “Stockholm’s Manhattan”. When it’s completed in 2030, Hagastaden will provide 50,000 jobs and 6,000 much-needed homes in Stockholm.

Developing 79 bespoke flats in Vasastan, Stockholm

Background
In 2022, Invesco Real Estate, a leading American investment firm,  partnered with Fokus Nordic to develop 79 residential flats in  Vasastan, Stockholm.

Case Skelbækgade

Creating an energy-efficient office community in the heart of Copenhagen

Background Skelbækgade 2-4 is a 14,000 m2 commercial building located in Copenhagen’s meatpacking district. The building is part of a larger real estate investment portfolio managed by Fokus Nordic. In 2019, Copenhagen Municipality, which had letted the property for decades, decided to relocate its offices, leaving the property almost completely vacant. This created the opportunity to rethink the property to create more value for investors and the local community.
