Position: Co-Head of Fund & Asset Management

What’s it like to be Co-Head of Fund & Asset Management at Fokus Nordic?
It’s my responsibility to manage real estate funds and their real estate properties and assist them in creating value and achieving their commercial objectives in a way that benefits society, people and the environment. The position is very hands on, and my decisions and ideas have a great impact. In addition, building good, trusting relationships with my clients is key. That calls for balancing my client’s needs with their tenants’ needs.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I enjoy working in a dynamic environment. I have a great deal of responsibility and varied work assignments that require me to engage with a wide range of professions, including legal, banking, finance, strategy and marketing, among others. It’s very satisfying to work with a tangible asset that develops over time. Following and managing that development, including finding creative solutions that can improve a property’s value and make it more sustainable from an ESG perspective, is very thrilling and rewarding work. And I appreciate collaborating with talented colleagues who are approachable and responsive in an environment of mutual respect and kindness.
