Leadership Changes – Following the Acquisition of DEAS Asset Management

After signing of the acquisition of DEAS Asset Management in mid-November 2024, Fokus Nordic has now received regulatory approvals from the Financial Supervisory Authorities in Denmark and Norway, and closing is expected on 1 April 2025. Upon completion of the transaction, Fokus Nordic will manage c. EUR 9 billion (AuM) on behalf of Nordic and international investors.

This acquisition positions Fokus Nordic as one of the largest full-service real estate asset and investment managers in the region, offering Nordic and international investors a one point of entry to the entire Nordic real estatemarket with localpresence in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, and Stockholm.

As a result of this successful acquisition, Fokus Nordic is pleased to announce key leadership appointments.

Key Leadership Appointments

Michael Rønnelund has been appointed as CEO of Fokus Nordic Denmark as of 1 April 2025. Michael Rønnelund has an in-depth understanding of the company, having served as Chief Operations Officer (COO, Denmark) at Fokus Nordic for the past 3,5 years and already known in the real estate business for more than 20 years. Michael will continue securing consistent and strong returns for institutional and professional clients.

Additionally, as part of Fokus Nordic’s integration and expansion strategy Fokus Nordic is adding a new leadershiprole in Group Management. Mikael Mosekilde willtake on the role as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
