Together with Nordea Life & Pension Fokus Nordic has completed the acquisition of Åkermyntan Centrum in Stockholm. Seller is Artmax.
Åkermyntan Centrum – a local shopping centre located within the heart of Hässelby Villastad – comprises approximately 9,500 square metres of lettable area. Anchor tenants include two grocery stores leased to ICA and Lidl, as well as publicly funded services. In total, these represent >70 percent of the rental income from the centre.
“Åkermyntan Centrum is an excellent addition to Nordea Life & Pension’s real estate portfolio. We see potential to further develop the center’s retail mix and strengthening the building’s environmental profile.” said Patrik Westerberg, Fund Manager at Fokus Nordic.
“We are very pleased to have undertaken this latest transaction. The mandate with Nordea Life & Pensions goes back to 2004 and the acquisition of Åkermyntan Centrum affirms both parties’ ambitions to jointly grow and develop Nordea Life & Pension’s real estate portfolio”, said Tonny Nielsen, CEO at Fokus Nordic.
Nordea Life & Pension was advised in the transaction by Setterwalls, KPMG and Anthesis. CBRE acted as advisor to the seller.
