17,500 m2 at Østerport II is fully let
Fokus Asset Management A/S has successfully developed built, rebuilt and let the entire property Østerport II. Fokus Asset Management A/S has just let the last office lease of 5,300 m2 to A.P. Moller – Maersk.
During spring 2021, the café area was let facing the newly renovated square Oslo
Plads. Other new tenants are the global law firm DLA Piper Advokatanpartsselskab with approx. 8,500 m2 and Fitness World with 1,300 m2. In addition, the existing lease contracts have been renegotiated a.o. with the supermarket chain IRMA and Spejder Sport (outdoor equipment).
The lettings are in line with the original idea of creating a new, attractive and exclusive multi-user house for a small handful of tenants.
Fokus Asset Management A/S has managed the entire project from concept development to turnkey project, hereunder facilitated both an architectural competition and a new local plan for the property, and developed a building right of approx. 11,000 m2. The project has been relatively complex due to the location of the property and consisted of both new building and complete rebuilding of approx. 6,500 m2.
It is gratifying that the finished project is fully let. The property has a most attractive location and contains some of the perhaps best office leases in Copenhagen.
The retention of the existing tenants, IRMA and Spejder Sport, the letting to Fitness World and the coming café and the renovation of Oslo Plads contribute to Østerport II now being a charming and attractive local environment to the residents at Østerbro and the many people using Østerport Station.
