Fokus Nordic today announces a leadership transition in its Danish organization. CEO of Fokus Nordic Denmark, Michael Rønnelund, will leave the company to pursue new opportunities.

Throughout this journey, Michael has brought strong commitment, integrity and a consistently constructive approach to the organization. Over the past five years, Michael has played an important role in the development of Fokus Nordic’s Asset Management platform in Denmark. He has helped grow the organization, contributed significantly to building the Danish platform to approximately €5 billion in assets under management, and supported the continued professionalization and digitalization of the business.
Effective 17 August 2026, Mads Larsen will assume the role of Head of Asset Management Denmark and Country Manager, Denmark.
Mads Larsen joined Fokus Nordic in 2017 and has since held positions of increasing responsibility within the organization. During this period, he has developed extensive knowledge of Fokus Nordic’s clients, operations and Danish business.
“Mads has been an important part of the development of Fokus Nordic in Denmark for many years. His strong understanding of our clients, business, and our organization makes him well positioned to lead the Danish organization through its next phase of development,” says Charles Dupont, Group CEO.
Michael Rønnelund and Mads Larsen will work closely together during the transition period to ensure an orderly handover of management responsibilities and client relationships. Fokus Nordic remains fully committed to ensuring continuity for its clients and maintaining the high standards of service, quality and execution across its Danish business.
